MIRELA VAHDANI was born in 1976 in Osijek, Croatia. She moved to Vienna in 1991 with the outbreak of the Balkan conflict, where she graduated from The American International School and later earned dual degrees in International Relations and Business Administration from Webster University.

After a successful international career in consulting and business development, Mirela decided in 2021 to fully dedicate her life to her lifelong passions: writing, dance, and film. She is the founder of Goldacht. Her current works in development include the science-mystery trilogy Golden Force and the cross-cultural film projects Bolero Cubano: Un Tesoro Escondido and Cuban Motion. Mirela lives near Vienna with her daughters.
